Leopardsun felt a swell of pride as she sat at the base of the Jaggedrock, moreso than most days. This was, after all, a particularly special moment; one she would always treasure. "All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, please gather in the shadow of the Jaggedrock for a Clan meeting!"

Though it hadn't been long at all, the familiar words were almost second nature now- enough that she no longer perfectly parroted Froststar and Nightstar's renditions, instead confident enough to make them her own. She watched as cats gathered around her, keeping an eye out for one in particular.

Harrierkit.

She had been a bit too big to be in the nursery, but she managed to sleep well there anyway. She was groggy, but the familiar voice of Leopardsun gave her the willpower to leave her warm bed. She sat herself down beneath Jaggedrock, giving her full attention.

It hadn't been very long since she first arrived in ShadowClan and was given a name fit for a Clan cat, but she understood what these meetings were. "Who could it be today?" She pondered.

The kit she'd found in the marsh hadn't been with them all that long, but it seemed she had come a long way in that short time- granted, her condition had improved drastically about as soon as she was no longer half-drowned, soaking wet, and starving. But progress was progress.

"Cats of ShadowClan! I have called you here today to witness the naming of a new apprentice. Harrierkit, please step forward."

She gave her charge a moment to do so before continuing.

"You have reached the age of six moons and are ready to become an apprentice of ShadowClan. From this day until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Harrierpaw. Marshmallow will be your mentor- I trust she will teach you everything she knows."

Marshmallow had been watching this ceremony- like she had done for many others- from afar. She hadn't met Harrierkit before, but she looked like she'd be nice. Most cats looked like they'd be nice, but Marshmallow didn't really care about specifics.

As Harrierkit became Harrierpaw, she turned her attention to Leopardsun, expecting to congratulate the new mentor of the cat, probably a new war-

Wait... What? Her? of all cats?

She tilted her head. Did that mean Leopardsun trusted her? Well... Not like she was complaining, of course. Marshmallow padded over to the- her new apprentice, a soft smile on her face. "Congratulations Harrierpaw. Training will start later tonight." Her stomach hurt a bit too much right now, and she wanted to focus on battle training... which might've been a bad idea, but she was sure it'd be totally fine...

This was a surprise to Harrierki- Harrierpaw. She was so new to all of this. She didn't fully understand how she'd ranked up already, but she was ecstatic nonetheless. An apprentice! The thought of something new was so exciting she could hardly keep from shaking.

There had been little time between her arrival and greeting the clan... Meaning she missed out on a quite few faces that she'd have to meet later. Marshmallow was definitely a new one, but she seemed kind enough though she seemed a bit... off, somehow.
She let out a shakey breath, trying to keep from exploding. "Thank you, Marshmallow. I'll see you tonight." She bowed her head slightly and awkwardly, not really knowing the customs and hoped this was right.
