Stronger Than You (open)

Thistlemask had been fidgety and restless as of late, feeling deeply like she had been failing to do the little things she had been asked - but in complete fairness, there hadn't really been anything to do, or any issues to do with ThunderClan to manage. With ShadowClan went their last little bit of troubles, and she had grown incredibly complacent, and figured it would be something she needed to fix going into the colder and harsher moons. As the sun drew its way into streaking light through the trees onto the floor of the ravine, she had an idea.

The deputy looked around camp for a moment, stopping to stand beside the exit of the camp. She wondered if her idea was about to fail, but she held out hope regardless. "Cats of ThunderClan! I am hosting a sparring tournament for all warriors and apprentices interested. I understand it's impromptu, and as such, I'm giving permission for any who would like to skip their patrol to come join today. We have plenty of prey and there hasn't been any major concerns on our borders. However, if would still like to go on your patrol I will not stop you." She dipped her head, waiting to see if anyone would be interested.

Beetleshade rolled her eyes when she heard the deputy's voice. A sparring tournament? She internally scoffed, though she couldn't come up with a valid reason for disliking the idea other than her dislike for the cat suggesting it. She'd rather eat rocks than participate in an activity planned by Thunderclan's oh-so-lovely deputy, but she had to admit she'd been itching for a fight lately. Shame she had to keep her claws sheathed...

Beetleshade headed over to the two cats, finally deciding that sulking wouldn't get her anywhere. Besides, the idea of skipping yet another dull patrol was appealing in itself. "I'll join." She said as she approached, her gaze blank as she gazed at her clanmates.
