What are the duties of a medicine cat? : Hold information about herbs, treatments, and basic feline anatomy ; Be able to recall such information when treating patients ; Properly treat, comfort, and take care of clanmates or other cats in need ; Help pregnant mollies deliver (as well as care for and keep an eye on said molly during pregnancy) ; Never to show bias between patients because of personal connections ; Participate in monthly meetings between all Medicine Cats ; Keep in touch with Starclan, sharing their prophecies to your leader, and trusting their guidance ; Guide apprentices to the Moonstone when they have completed their training ; Eventually train an apprentice of your own, passing knowledge and skill down to the next generation

What would you do with this position? : Sandykit has always been anxious of herself, always paranoid she will mess something up or she will be inadequate to her peers. As the runt, she looked up to her siblings, copying them with undeniable trust and love. But now, she will be taking a path of her own, exploring her more gentle and caring side. After obsessively learning all she can and over-preparing, she'll eagerly try to provide for and help her clanmates. And even if her own happiness in the job is sabotaged by trauma or grief, she will probably throw herself into her work, still providing :)

Why you think you deserve this position? : I've always known I'd eventually want to take a shot at a high rank, and I figure MCA is the best place to start. After about 4 solid characters and a year of participating in WCC and interacting with high ranks, I've decided I'm ready to have that experience under my belt. I'm excited to see the other side to clan life, and to interact with even more with members.
