Tumbling Kittens (c)

Torrentkit flicked his tail as he waited in the nursery. Morning light streamed in through the entrance. Forestfire hadn't gotten up yet, and he didn't want to wake her. He was sooo bored. Torrentkit idly flicked a bit of moss into a small ball. He batted and kicked at it before accidentally flinging it out of the den. He chased after it, entranced in his game, but fumbled over his large paws. He tumbled headfirst into another cat and growled as he smacked into them. Why did this cat have to be right where I was going, he angrily thought to himself. He looked around for the scrap of moss, but it was nowhere to be found.

"Woah.. Sootpaw said as soon as the kit had tumbled into him, not really minding the collision but it did startle him after all. "Are you alright?" The apprentice asked, eyes glancing over the kits form, trying to make sure there were no injuries. Once he was satisfied he noticed the kit was looking for something. "What are you looking for?" Sootpaw asked.

"I'm fine," He grumbled. Torrentkit shook out his pelt to try and remove some of the dust. "Hm," he let out, a little surprised by the apprentice's question. "Oh, my mossball disappeared," he meowed, a bit disappointed that his playing was put to a stop.
