A Night in Silence [c]

It was tradition for a cat to sit vigil after their warrior ceremony, keeping guard in silence while the rest of the Clan slept. today, two warriors would be keeping that vigil.

Roseburn found herself to be quite anxious about it, stealing glances at the molly that sat beside her, Frostednight. She had never spoken much with her much. Frostednight was older than even her, and she never seemed like she wanted anything to do with any other cat. And it was that aura that made this all the more awkward. It was like, there was so much Roseburn wanted to say, at least to break the ice. But the stupid rules prevented that. She didn't know what to do.

Frostednight was fine with this vigil. For most cats, not speaking for hours would be torture. Not for Frostednight, she didn't mind. Multi-colored eyes glanced over at her companion, Roseburn. It was hilarious to the new warrior, the other was struggling to not speak, yet Frostednight did that effortlessly. With the quietest chuckle, Frostednight turned her back to Roseburn to see what sort of reaction that would illicit from the she-cat.
