Iceheart’s eyes widened when Frostgaze announced Nightstalker to be the next deputy. She had not known who was going to be chosen as the next deputy, as there were so many cats worthy of the title. Nightstalker was not all that more experienced than her, though. Would he be a good fit? She looked to the cat in question. His expression changed from shock to a steely resolve, and Iceheart knew that Frostgaze’s choice had, in fact, been correct. Nightstalker would be a good addition to the leaders of ShadowClan. She hoped that he would continue to demonstrate all of the good traits that she had come to admire in him. After a moment, she joined in on the cheers in his favor.
