❒ Eyes devoid of any life scanned the surrounding territory. A large figure roamed along the border Skyclan shared with Thunderclan. There wandering was not for naught, though—even if it did seem like it.

❒ Jaggedthorn had taken it upon himself to keep watch for any suspicious activity that any of the clan cats may brew up outside of their camps. Despite not receiving any orders to do so, he felt the need to guard and scare off any unwanted presence. He was also using this time to refamiliarize himself with Skyclan's territory. It had been many moons past since he'd walked across this ground.

❒ The large tom paused in front of the Fallen Oak, shifty gaze never wavering. He easily maneuvered himself atop it so he could get a better vantage point. His face remained impassive as he looked at everything around him. Things had changed but he really didn't care. In fact, he could care less. He was here to do one thing and one thing only: To ensure that the clan cats stayed in line so that the Dark Forest warriors could complete their ultimate goal. He was the big, mean cat that had to keep all the little mice at bay. He couldn't let them get the cheese, after all.
