Young and Mischevious (CLOSED)

The air was cold and miserable and Amberkit just wanted to stay curled up in the nursery where it was warm. However, her curiosity about what Grasskit was up to got the best of her. With a resigned sigh, she made her way out of the nursery stretching her long legs already shivering slightly from the cold air and lack of sunshine that afternoon. "Grasskit? What are you doing out here, it's cold!" She said as she came up behind her friend. "We should play in the nursery not out here." She logically knew that was a recipe for disaster. The queens would be upset with them causing trouble in the cramped nursery. Maybe it would be better to play out here... even if it made Amberkit miserable to be in this cold dreary weather.

It was nearing the point where Grasskit couldn't stand to be in the nursery. It was so cramped, and so boring, and like usual, she found herself outside, not far, mind you - she'd been hollered at and scolded more times than she could count for wandering, but surely they couldn't blame her for just getting some fresh air. At the sound of paws behind her, Grasskit looked over her shoulder, preparing to be annoyed at some warrior shuffling her back towards the nursery, but no! It was Amberkit! Immediately her demeanor shifted, and Grasskit smirked, turning to meet her friend face to face.

She gave a short purr of greeting, but at Amberkit's suggestion that they play inside, Grasskit let out a very melodramatic sigh and flopped on to her side, as if the very thought of returning to the nursery caused her immense distress. "But it's so boring," she lamented, dropping a paw on to her face. "Wouldn't you rather do something else?" she asked hopefully, abandoning the dramatic pose and climbing to her paws again. "We could fight!" she suggested. "Well... not really, but practice, ya know? We'll be apprentices soon, it'll get us ahead of the others!"
