Winter Falls [Open]

Stormbringer laid half way outside of the nursery, snow shoved away from her spot on the ground as she soaked up what little sunglight she could with these ever growing colder moons. The warmth of the den helped he keep from getting too cold, and if she hadn't felt like she had been trapped in the den lately she would have retreated inside.

The queen braced herself against a harsh gust of wind, a shiver running down her spine as it passed. Amber eyes peered out to the camp.. How was everyone coping with the changes..? How was Jaystar fairing? Did Perchfall settle in her role well? Many questions plagued her mind... Only time would tell for sure.. For now she watched her clan, hoping maybe someone would come by and talk with her.

With a skip in his step despite the freezing temperature, Blackpaw went around the camp and inquired about any work that he could lend a paw to. After the first several encounters that led to him being denied, the tall tom huffed and pouted half-heartedly. He wasn't too annoyed but he really had wanted to help. Ah well. That meant that he had more time to practice.

Before he could even leave the camp, the tom spotted a queen relaxing barely outside the nursery. Ah! He remembered her! Stormbringer. She'd been a constant presence in the nursery during his kithood. He had barely interacted with her as he was always wandering out of the nursery any chance he got to 'investigate' the outside. The short-furred tom shook himself from his thoughts and made his way to her, mind already made up.

"Stormbringer! Cold ain't it? My short fur's doing very little to warm me up but the more I walk around and stuff, the less I feel the chill." he meowed warmly at her, cheery green gaze trained on her. He offered her a grin before plopping himself down in front of her. He brushed off the chill that ran up his spine at the cold he felt from his bum. He didn't mind as long as he could have a good conversation. "So, how have you been? It's been a pretty eventful moon hasn't it?" he asked with a soft tilt of his head.
