As hard as he tried, the wanton slashing of claws wasn't enough to deter Mistyfalcon. A well-aimed blow to the head had Micah backpedaling, thin sides heaving as he tried to catch his breath. How much blood had he lost? Was his stomach still bleeding? Lifting a leg and craning his neck gave him a quick answer of yes, it was.
"Fine!" He spat, tail lashing wildly. His breath was ragged, and he had started to tremble with the effort of continuing to fight. "Fine, whatever. Wasn't a fair fight anyway." Back to his leering grin, and he went on, "'Least I know how to play like a good cat. Thought you were supposed to be the noble ones?" Another huff, then Micah was turning away, half-teetering, half-skipping back towards the pines. "I'll be back though, and I'll kill you both next time!" He called merrily over his shoulder as he took a few staggering bounds until he was out of sight.

The rogue spoke up again, but finally fled, and Mistyfalcon watched him retreat, lips still curled into an ugly snarl. His gaze remained on the rogue until he was out of sight through the trees, and then the warrior was turning towards Frostpaw.
"You are going to the medicine den when we get back to camp." He told the white apprentice briskly, "No arguing." He added, tone serious as his gaze raked over the bloody apprentice.
"That rogue was deranged, even more than usual." He grumbled, "You fought well... But I think it's time we head back to camp rather than push our luck out here."

Frostpaw's glare followed the rogue until he was out of sight. If only he was stronger... another day. He would continue his training. There was no reason he would not become a warrior soon. He was tired though, maybe it was the act of combat, or maybe it was the blood loss, and he barely noticed Mistyfalcon's words. After a short silence, a quiet murmur of "Understood." could be heard from the bloodied apprentice. His wounds had begun to sting and ache, the adrenaline finally beginning to wear off. Thus began Frostpaw's journey back to camp.
