A Midnight Stroll (Open)

Goldenfeather wandered purposeless into the silent night time forest, wanting to escape the noisy and crowded camp. She sighed as the cool air ruffled her fur, and laid down in a clearing where the moon shone through the trees. Nice and quiet... Just how I like it... She thought.

Graystream moved away from the camp silently. He knew he wasn't the msot social person in larger groups so he decided to head off by himself. He traveled for only a short amount of time before seeing Goldenfeather. He walked next to her slowly and stood by her side, "How's my old Apprentice doing?" He asked her kindly, he hadn't had much of a chance to speak with Goldenfeather or Darkshadow ever since they had become Warriors.

Goldenfeather looked at Graystream and scuffed her paws on the ground. She did her best to hide her feelings, but finally, she confessed. "It's just been so loney..." She said. "Everyone's always busy, and Darkshadow almost never does things with me anymore because she's with..." She broke off, wondering if her sister would be mad at her if Graystream knew her secret.

Graystream flicked his eyes quickly towards Darkshadow. He saw her, but when she started to move away he returned his vision. Graystream thought about what Goldenfeather had stopped saying. He decided to leave it up in the air as well, "Well, if you're not to busy, we could go on a patrol first thing in the morning together. You could lead." He meowed back to her encouragingly.

"Maybe..." She murmured, but her mind was on something else.
