"were leaving!" Lemonpaw told the others. As he walked out of camp, he felt excited. never before had he left the camp, and now, he was going all the way to fourtrees! being an apprentice was better htan he had thought.

Firefly sighed. "So much trouble..." She whispered wearily. "Lemonpaw! Wait for the rest of us before you leave camp!"

"Fine." said Lemonpaw, stopping and lookign back at the others, who had hardly even left the camp.

Firefly reached the camp entrance, along with the others. "Alright, lets go." She huffed.

Now that evryone was ready, Lemonpaw started to explore the forest, which was new and mysterious to him. "How far are we to fourtrees?" the excited apprentice asked his mentor.

"We still have a ways to go." She purred. "Now... Tell me what you can smell."

Lemonpaw sniffed the air carefuly. many scents could he smell. the one that stood out to him the strongest was the smell of his clanmates. also, he could smell something that he beleived to be a mouse.
"I smell my clanmates and i think i can smell a mouse," said Lemonpaw.

"Correction,"
Said Sunset,
"I smell my first meal!"
She said, getting down to crouch.

"Was I right or wrong? Was it a mouse?" asked Lemonpaw to both his mentor and Sunset.

"Very good. It was" Firefly mewed. "You may also be able to smell some other Clan scents once we get to Four trees." She purred with amusement as she padded past Sunset.

Sunset had focused carefully, pinpointing the direction of her mouse. When she spotted it munching on a seed, she stalked foreward, making sure the wind was to her advantage, and pounced. Killing it and eating it with a swift bite, she stalked back to the rest of the group.

Following his mentor, Lemonpaw continued to get closer and closer to foutrees. Many questions came to mind as he walked beside his mentor. Looking back, he purred as he saw Sunset coming back with the mouse.
