The Highwayman [OPEN]

Dawnhawk wandered across the moor toward the Thunderpath. It was fairly early in the morning, the sun hadn't even come up yet. He was settling into his life as a Windclan cat, but there were still days where the wind buffeting his fur was too much and woke him constantly. He'd given up for tonight and his restless feet brought him here. He supposed he'd take a walk down it, maybe interact with other clan patrols possibly. His black fur was convincing enough that no one had known who he was at the gathering. He was more comfortable interacting with others now, and it might be a good idea to reach out and make other alliances while he could. The truth would come out eventually, he knew that, but perhaps he could convince some cats to not care about who he was. Bonds had a funny way of preventing cats from acting rationally.... or in some cases irrationally. He glanced up at the moon and saw that the Medicine Cat meetings were likely to take place soon. If anyone was going to crash his ability to stay hidden and to remain as "Nightwind", it would be Starclan. He'd never felt like he had help from Starclan... but anytime he reached out to the Dark Forest he always felt answered. So again... Dawnhawk closed his eyes while he walked and sent out a silent request to the Dark Forest to stop Starclan from letting him be discovered. Maybe they would assist him once more. The lack of monsters on the Thunderpath was welcome, as he had no interest in having to dart off onto another clan's territory to avoid it.
