Birdpaw took another swipe at the goose, and suddenly it was doing its' best to hobble away from the apprentices, seemingly no longer interested in attacking. Movements slow and clumsy, and Birdpaw guess that it was from the blood loss.
...Eugh.
Birdpaw gazed down at her bloody paws, a look of distaste crossing her features before she glanced up at Tuftpaw.
"Are you okay?" She asked, maybe their clanmates didn't need to know they'd fought a goose and they could return to camp with their fresh kill like nothing had happened.
Birdpaw used Front Paw Strike for -10 sp, dealing -6 damage.

Tuftpaw cheered at the sight of the goose trundling its way back into the forest. At least she was until she realized both their paws were covered in blood. This would be hard to explain to their Clanmates. Though, she realized, they were near the creek. It was loud enough to hear.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I think we can wash our paws off and return to camp with our prey. No one needs to know."
With that, she let the cool water rush over her reddened paws. It was chilling, which made her wonder why RiverClan bothered with their river. Once she was done, she went to pick up the squirrel and led the way back to camp. This story would probably never be known, but it made Tuftpaw feel confident again. Stronger, even.
