Thunder and Lightning

Yew followed the small group of Asylum cats ahead of him. Quietly taking in his new surroundings, he let out a large sigh. He had been assigned to 'Thunderclan', who lived next to the clan which his father watched over. Not only was he disappointed, but he was only realising now how much he missed his littermates. Ivory in particular had seemed very excited, even though she was of to the marshy pine forests. At least here the ground was firm and strewn with leaf mulch; he couldn't imagine how much the marshes stank.

A dark fox pelt was slung over his slim, lanky build. It was fairly new, but he still didn't like the way it pressed down on his back. How does anyone fight or hunt in these? It made him feel too hot as well, so he was looking forward to reaching camp and being able to put it away. However, his internal whining finished when he spotted the camp. "Woah!" He said, nudging the other young Standard beside him, "This is amazing!" He had expected for it to be similar to Asylum camp, just a little larger and fuller. "There's so many cats!" Thunderclanners of all shape, size and age were lying or pacing around camp. All he had ever known was Asylum camp, which was almost always empty apart from his family and a few guards.

He recognised one or two Asylum members that he had seen hanging around Asylum camp, but he didn't know any of them personally. Finally he was beginning to enjoy himself, and forget at how annoyed he was. It was just all so cool! "Hiya!" He said to a nearby Thunderclan cat who looked similar in age to him. Maybe this would be more fun if he had some friends.
