Lightning Strikes

Strikepaw wandered at the edge of the thunderpath. Suddenly she caught a glimpse of something moving on the thunderpath and ran out to see what it was forgetting all about how dangerous the thunderpath was. The next moment, a monster hit her and she lay very still. She was dead.

Cedarfur was tired of the grief the dogs gave his clan. The tom decided to take a walk, and found himself near the thunder path. Hmm, I wonder why my legs took me here... Cedarfur stalked around, making sure no straying Twolegs or monsters were about. After a few moments, he saw a monster wizz by, and a small "splatter" noise. As he peered down the black road, he saw a bundle of something on laying motionless on it. A rabbit maybe? He crept forward but to his dismay, the body was a cat. The tom ran across the Thunderpath in only a few strides and drug the cat off the off before another monster screamed by. The stench of the path made his nose sting, and he couldn't tell who the cat was, until he turned the ball of fur over. The tom finally realized it was a ShadowClan apprentice. Oh no. A nervous feeling stirred inside him. What...What do I do? I can't just leave him here.
