Lexine had to hold her tongue to prevent herself from groaning as she spotted Roe taking the wrong turn. Of course...Tsk. Frustration bubbled within in - from a thirst to win even she hadn't been expecting...Before she sighed and took in a deep breath. No, she could do this. She could admit that this wasn't her style - she was a Nightstriker. Most of the time, they took out whatever was annoying them with claws. It wasn't a problem that she had to use her head for once, she at least was much better about using it than her brother was. Her eyes fell onto the maze again as she quickly tried to find the new way for Roe to escape - to win. Settling on a new path, she swished her tail sharply to the right - hoping he would realize he had to make a turn now as he had kept moving forward at a slow pace while she had searched for his new path.

Roe's ears slicked back a little as he slowly moved forward, nervously waiting for a new signal from Lexine. She was taking a while and a sense of worry blossomed in his chest. He...He had made a wrong turn, hadn't he? Part of him wanted to turn around, to try to re-correct his course but he had to have faith that Lexine would find a new direction for him. He hoped it was soon thought - he was in an awkward bit where he was heading away from her and it was tricky to keep moving forward while looking over his shoulder. Then, she straightened up and her tail quickly lashed out to the lef-Her right, right. His eyes fell to the right, seeing a path he was just about to walk past. He quickly turned to step onto it, heart beating as he hoped that this was the correct turn.

Roe managed to make the right turn at Lexine's signal. 2/3 succeeded rolls.

Zinnia observed Olivestar's signals carefully this time, managing not to misinterpret them (and, with a hint of shame, realizing she'd mistaken her earlier directions completely) before moving to the right; where she stood proudly while waiting for the next signal. She didn't bother sparing the Asylum cats a second thought, believing it was better to focus on herself and her leader rather than worry about how they were doing in comparison.

Zinnia understood Olivestar's directions.

Now that they seemed to be back on track, Olivestar calculated the next best course from where Zinnia was standing, and determined that the best move was to be to the left. She swept her tail to the left,, hoping that they'd be able to pull ahead and win. The gray leader had never been the extremely competitive sort, but she found herself wanting to prove herself in front of the Asylum much more.

Things were going well - Roe was nearly out of the maze...But Lexine caught a glimpse of Zinnia and knew that the WindClan cats were getting close. She huffed, a little surprised. She honestly hadn't thought highly about Olivestar doing well - what did WindClan know about working together? In Asylum, at least for the Nightstrikers, they were raised to work together with their pack. To never be alone, to know how to have another's back. WindClan, however, seemed to be...Free spirits, so to speak. They were a Clan, yes, but did they ever learn how to fight together? She doubted it, the learned how to fight for themselves - and it just so happened that it lined up with protecting their Clan at the same time. The fact that they were doing so well was...Almost annoying to her, as she lashed her tail - before her eyes widen as she just realized her mistake.

She had just accidently given a signal to Roe.

Roe, however, was having the time of his life. While he has been heartbroken not to get to lead, being in the maze was more fun that he had been expecting. He glanced up as a flicker of movement caught his attention, coming to a confused stop as he tried to make out what Lexine had just signaled at him. Her tail had lashed, but...Hm...He suppose it had been more toward her right side. So, he happily turned to follow that direction - unaware that it had been a complete accident.

Lexine has accidently given Roe a false signal, costing more time. 2/3 successful rolls.
