Mistypaw circled the snake, looking for another opening as Brightpaw's claws caught the thing upside the head. It wasn't dead, but it would be sooner rather than later if he could land another hit like Brightpaw had.
Unsheathed claws flashed as they came toward the snake's head once more, this time connecting with their target. Mistypaw instinctively took a step back as it fell to the ground, but the snake didn't move. Blood pooled slowly from the deep slashes where his claws had struck. Blue eyes lifted, eyeing the two she-cats.
"Are you okay?" He asked, question aimed more towards Brightpaw as she'd been the one startled by the snake in the first place, but his sharp gaze hadn't failed to note that the snake had snapped at Tulipfang.
Mistypaw used Front Paw Flash on Snake for -10sp and dealing -6 damage. Attack was successful!

Letting out a cry at the snake's sudden attack towards her, Tulipfang reeled back, holding the paw that had been bitten off the ground. Though they didn't have any legs, snakes were certainly a dangerous foe, seeing as though their method of killing was sometimes silent but deadly.
Watching as the apprentice finished off the serpent, Tulipfang worked to slow her breathing. She'd been startled, but nothing from the snake bit seemed to be happening yet and she needed to calm down before she got Mistypaw and Brightpaw worked up.
"I'm fine," she huffed before looking down at her leg. It hadn't been anything horrible, but the snake had drawn some blood and it was better to be safe than sorry. "I hate to end our hunting early, but let's head back to camp," the white and ginger warrior mewed, trying her best to work up a smile.
