| Firepaw continued her hunt. She scented the air, and this time scented bird. She got into the hunters crouch as she neared it, snuck up on it, and killed it with a swift bite to the neck.

| Scraping earth over her kill, she padded on. Firepaw soon found a vole, searching for food. She quickly got into the hunters crouch, and leaped at it. "Mouse dung!" She huffed, as the vole ran under her and under a tree root.
