Why was he in Fourtrees at midnight, at a time where there was not a Gathering? Who could say? Redfall often wandered onto the shared land, taking nighttime walks to clear his head, though he was usually out a bit earlier than this. The ginger tabby eyed the Great Rock, flexing his claws. Maybe one day, he'd be up there. He eyed one of the large trees near the SkyClan territory and leapt onto it, clawing his way up. Tail flicking, he turned towards the other territories, balancing on the branch. There seemed to be a pair of eyes staring out at him from the WindClan section, but he dismissed the thought as a hallucination. But they remained, and with a hiss, Redfall charged forwards, leaping off of his branch with powerful hind legs. His front paws pinned the intruder to the ground (intruder? Not really, it was shared land, but he didn't think about that) as he growled, "What are you doing?"

Spotlake was taking a nice midnight walk to Fourtrees. She had slept through most of the day so she figured she'd get some hunting done. She walked into the shared territory when she saw a ginger tom in one of great oaks. She stared at him, confused as to why he was in one of those huge trees, which could end in a fatal fall, so late at night. He then leapt at her and she was pinned down.

"I was hunting for my clan. Do you really want to fight when its so dark outside?" Hissed Spotlake. She scrambled away and got up onto her paws.

Redfall scrambled backwards, tail lashing, a snarl building in his throat. "What? You were hunting, for your Clan... in Fourtrees?" His claws unsheathed, digging into the hard-packed earth below. Snorting, the tabby reared up on his hind legs, slashing wildly at the WindClan cat, before dropping back down to a crouch. "And I'm confident in my own abilities. You might want to worry about yours." A snarl curled his maw as he shifted to a defensive position, trying to guess what the other cat would do.

Spotlake unsheathed her claws. Does this cat really want a fight now? She got up onto her hind paws and slashed around wildly before putting her front paws down.

No answer? Well then. His thoughts were cut short as unsheathed claws arced out in the move he'd just used, the WindClan calico rearing up and aiming a pawful of claws at him. Thankfully, he's seen her hind legs bunch up and her claws flash out, and he'd known what was coming. He slid to the side and under, ducking her blows, before executing a neat forwards roll and springing at her, claws unsheathed to try and strike her in the flank. His blows weren't all that hard, but they showed he wasn't messing around, either. He scowled as his claws passed through the air, and he quickly jumped back, trying to keep out of range of her claws.

Spotlake was shocked at to how good the ginger tom was at battle since he looked so young. Still this was a fight. She had to get some damage on him. Spotlake swiped at him, rapidly.

He tried to dodge this, too, but was less prepared and unsuccessful. Redfall's tail lashed in anger as the she-cat scored long claw marks across his face and chest. The ginger tabby narrowed his eyes for a moment before turning over and sliding under the WindClan calico, claws drawing scores of red blood in her belly fur. It wasn't a very honorable move, but battles didn't need to be honorable. He scrambled back up to a crouch, fur ruffled up, adrenaline racing through his body.

Spotlake felt the sting from the scratches on her stomach. Spotlake ran behind the Skyclan tom and bit down on his tail and pulled it, before letting go and going back in front of the tom.

One moment he was in a crouch, the next on the ground. He stumbled backwards as an intense, fiery pain ran through his tail and onto his spine, causing his legs to tremble and give out. Redfall shook himself out on the ground and rose back up, hissing. She'll pay. He eyed the calico and leapt at her, claws digging into her back. He balanced on his hind legs, tail elevated for balance, and gripped her shoulders with thorn-sharp claws, raking her back. His superior weight pinned the WindClan she-cat down.

Redfall struggled to remain balanced as he continued to score claw marks along the calico's back. He felt only the tiniest bit of guilt for every blow, but mostly satisfaction. He could feel himself losing his footing, but managed to stay on by digging his back claws into the warrior's thick fur.

Spotlake managed to get up onto her paws as the Skyclan warrior slid off her back.
