Hi! As per the new plotting rules (here) , there will be a few changes you have to make in order for this plot to be approved. Luckily, you already have two topics where they interact without romance. That's great! However, the last section of your application is a little lacking.

Number 6 in the plotting rules asks that a plot serves a purpose. Because of the taboo and unlawful nature of forbidden romance, staff prefers there is a stronger end goal to official plots than "character development." For example: what kind of character development? What do Vinepaw and Willowpaw experience by the end? How does it change them, and what makes their love different from other forbidden romances? Are they willing to abandon the only life they know for each other? I suggest you both work together to think of answers to those questions, and then we can take a second look at this application.

One more thing: it may benefit your plot to talk directly to Maple and Honey Badger if you haven't already to get an idea of what Flintstar and Ivystar would do/say in this situation. You never know what ideas you might get from the reactions of the leaders.

Plot Name: Vinetail and Willowbreeze forbidden romance

Clans involved: RiverClan and ShadowClan

Characters directly involved: Willowbreeze and Vinetail

Will there be code-breaking?: Yes, it's a forbidden romance

Explain your plot: Vine and Willow started out fighting each other, but when they stopped, they somehow started liking each other.  They went on a date at Carrionplace and realized how deep their relationship was becoming.  They realized they needed to be together, and they tried figuring out how to stay together.  They settle on trying to get into RiverClan, because Vinetail wanted to start a new life because the only family he knew well and loved was gone.(and because ShadowClan acceptance policies won't let Willow in) If Vine doesn't make it into RiverClan, Willow will run away with him to become loners.

How will this affect the characters/Clans involved?:  If Vinetail makes it into RiverClan, he and Willowbreeze will be happy together, and RiverClan will gain a warrior, though ShadowClan will lose one.  But if Vine doesn't make it into RiverClan and they become loners, both ShadowClan and RiverClan will lose a warrior.

Why should the plot be approved?: Vine no longer has any reason to stay in ShadowClan, with the only family that he knew well and loved, gone.  He wants to start a new life.  They are both willing to leave the only life they have ever known, their lives in the Clans, to be together.  They would both die if it meant they could be together in StarClan, without anything keeping them apart.  This plot would hopefully bring them together.  They will probably both experience times when there are multiple cats who doubt their loyalty.  Their relationship is different from others because they are willing to leave their Clans if it means they can be together.

This plot is approved! It is now discoverable by the medicine cats through StarClan.
