Applepaw's Moonstone Journey

For the first time, the gruff warrior smiled, his mottled face lit by Applepaw's enthusiasm. Mottledspark nodded his head deeply. "RiverClan is graceful, and RiverClan is powerful. You'll be th' same if you remain loyal." The starry scenery was beginning to fade, and Mottledspark's bushy tail waved in a farewell. "Go with courage, Applepaw. You'll be a warrior in no time." Then the tom disappeared, leaving Applepaw to awaken.

Applepaw smiled as the warrior faded and he woke up. He walked over to Spiderquill. ”I’m ready to leave!” mewed the tom.

Spiderquill smiled at Applepaw as he woke up from his slumber, the shine in the apprentice's eyes a clear sign that nothing bad had befallen him in StarClan. That was good, after all that had happened it was good to know of a StarClan interaction that wasn't negative. The pair began their journey back home, both having grown at least a little. It was a good day.
