Badger Patrol

OOC: Please don't make the badger appear out of nowhere, I'll make it show up when the time comes. :)

IC: Graystream padded into the Warriors den, "Firelight, let's go," He meowed, "Today's a good day to track down the Badger," He added as he flicked his tail toward the gorse tunnel.

Darkpaw raced up to Greystream.
Can I come to? Please!?

"You two wait by the gorse tunnel, I'll get Goldenpaw," He meowed as he slowly made his way to the Apprentices den, "Goldenpaw, do you want to come look for the Badger?" He asked as he stepped inside.

"Yes, of course." Goldenpaw replied getting up. "Coming...."

Graystream settled down in front of the gorse tunnel waiting for Goldenpaw to come out of her den.

Goldenpaw walked up to Graystream. "When do we start?" She asked. "I'm going to give that badger a fight he'll never forget!"

Yeah! Me and Goldenpaw will rip apart those mangy old things!

"When we do find it, don't rush in," He mewed quietly as he started to head for the gorse tunnel, "I don't want another cat to join StarClan in the same moon," He finished as the four of them began to pad out of the tunnel. When they reached the top of a hill Graystream stopped and scented the air, he decided to test the other cats with him, "Smell the Badger?" Graystream asked as he sat down, "Where does it's trail lead?" He asked simply as his tail moved from side to side in anticipation.

Ohhh can i come?

Graystream turned around and nodded in greeting, "I'm sorry," He replied, "You've only just started your training. I can't risk you getting hurt by a lethal Badger," He finished as he looked around the forest, "Goldenpaw, Darkpaw, can either of you two tell me where the trail leads?" He asked, waiting for their answer.

OOC: Firelight, Goldenpaw, Darkpaw? Anyone going to give it a scent, we're almost at the Badger. You can even scent it if you want, just please don't charge in. :)

Darkaw opend her mouth to find the badger scent.
I can smell the trail leadingg towards those brambles Darkpaw mewed pointing t them with her tail.

OOC: The only reason I didn't give you the scent is because you asked Darkpaw or Goldenpaw to. Ya know, because they're apprentices.

OOC: Yeah, I was hoping one of them would reply. Also the turn order will be: Firelight, Goldenpaw, Darkpaw, Graystream, Badger.

IC: Graystream flicked his tail for all four cats to crouch down. They slowly crept through the bushes until a badger was in a small clearing eating a piece of fresh-kill, "Firelight, how about you lead? Goldenpaw, Darkpaw, and I will be right behind you," He said as his body quivered with anticipation of the fight.
