The Lost Boys [We Are Golden] Plot Page

NOTE: This plot has yet to be submitted for review by staff. The purpose of this plot page is to gain interest in the concept. Once it is determined whether or not this will actually happen, sign-ups will be opened closer to the initial start of the plot as to not have people waiting on hold with their characters.

Who gives a d*mn about the family you come from?"

General Premise: In the aftermath of the current sitewide plot... kits are born into an era filled with more understanding than before, relationships between clans that would have not existed had they not survived the decimation of the forest with the floods. After everyone begins to return home, the borders and code and reinforced and rebuilt per tradition of the forest. The change is difficult for many young cats who aren't used to the divided nature of the clans. Eventually, dissatisfied with the nature of the warrior code, several apprentices make the decision to shed their path of a warrior and come together to enjoy life outside the clan. They take up residence in the Abandoned Barn where they attempt to navigate life without regulation.

Plot Stages:

Part 1--The Return
Cats come back from the clans and apprentices/kits struggle to live without their friends from other clans. Several get in trouble with their leaders for leniency at the borders.

Part 2--Seeking Change
One cat, perhaps a young warrior or older apprentice, decides they're sick of the warrior code and the restrictions that come with it. They spread the word about wanting to leave the clans and sets out to find a place where those who choose can leave in peaceful harmony.

Part 3--Starting Fresh
Having found the Abandoned Barn, those who have decided to leave their older relatives, kin, and clan make their way to their new home. Underneath the half-leadership of the eldest cat there, they enjoy their newfound freedom to the fullest and live in harmony with those from all different backgrounds.

Part 4--Trouble in Paradise
TBD; fairly obvious by the name above.

You and I already briefly discussed this in Discord, but Amberdawn will almost certainly help to care for and support the Lost Boys if she can. Unfortunately I have made the discovery that, like many things, the Abandoned Barn is across the entire forest from SkyClan, but she's young and spry. She would willingly make the trip across the forest at least twice a moon (once for the half-moon meeting, once for the Lost Boys) in the name of peace and healing. xD

edit; That, of course, means she'd be going on the same paths past the same territories multiple times a moon. The Lost Boys won't be a secret, but for a time Amber's helping them might be. Someone could find her out!

Should Mosspaw become med cat apprentice, she would absolutely help as much as she could too. Perhaps she could figure out what's going on somehow, and offer her help to Amber to maintain the peace and help care for them!
