Waspkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!"  Leopardclaw called out from atop the Highrock, his eyes shining with pride.  Today one of his grandkits would become an apprentice.

Birdflight hurried her son out of the nursery, a prideful gaze on her face. She sat down and looked at Waspkit with love and pride. He was going to join his other siblings in the apprentice's den.

Waspkit sat tall as he waited for the deputy to begin the ceremony. He was really excited and ready for it!

Leopardclaw smiled down at his kin, before calling out to the clan and beginning the ceremony.  "Waspkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed.  From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Wasppaw.  Your mentor will be Robinsong.  I hope she will pass down all she knows on to you."
