Hazelkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar called out to his clan, "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

Hazelkit blinked as Crowstar called a clan meeting. She was practicing her hunting leaps. The SkyClan leader had interrupted it all!
She slunk over to the tall branch and sat down, tail twitching.

"Today we are gathered to name another apprentice. The leader said before looking down at Hazelkit. "Hazelkit please come forward." Crowstar shifted on the branch before continuing. "Hazelkit from this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Hazelpaw. Your mentor will be Hawkstrike." The leader said and then jumped down ending the ceremony.

Hazelpaw puffed out her chest proudly and went to touch noses with her new mentor. ”I’ll be the best warrior you’ve ever trained! Or if I’m your first apprentice, I bet your future apprentices won’t be as great as I’ll be!”
