The Little Cherrylings (open but wait for cherryfang's kits to post first)

(So basically I'm a have this be more of a after birth topic)

Cherryfang hated in this sheer moment that she couldn't see her kits that she had only given birth to not so long ago. She could feel their movement and hear them but nothing bothered her more then not being able to see them. She lowered her head licking each kit in turn.

A brown tabby she kit with tufted ears and a white and black tail tip gave a mewl of complaint before squirming away.

Hazelkit pressed her tiny body to her adoptive mother. She mewed contentedly as she snuggled against Cherryfang and began to drift off to sleep.

OOC: If this is after birth imma guess I can post in it now XD
IC: The tiny brown kit snuggled contentedly against the warm form of her mother. She lifted her head, revealing a red chest, and lifted a tiny paw. All of her paws were this red colour, as was her tail-tip. The kit let out a small, happy sigh as she pressed close, trying to warm herself in the harsh cold of leafbare. This was an especially hard season for a newborn kit, and as this particular kit got cold easily, she needed her mother more then anything. She slowly drifted into a dreamless sleep, with the occasional movement of her tail.

The tiny orange ball of fur, snuggled into her adoptive family.  Fortunately for Whitekit her adoptive mother was due to give birth soon after her biological mother had passed on.  The she-cat would not know the difference as she couldn't open her eyes yet. The she-cat was content and secure enough to let sleep take over.

One of the kits was definitely not content to sit around sleeping all day anymore. Olivekit was ready to go explore somewhere else beside the usual warmth side of his mother and play with the wriggling masses bumping into his side. Feeling bold, this little tom had no problem knocking his dark grey body into his siblings like a constant thorn at their sides. He squealed with delight when one particular knock had him rolling over one of them, migrating from his place somewhere on the side into the middle of the fray of them all.

(I'm a just go with the fact that since she had given birth to the kits when she was visiting Willowflight he helped name the kits so kits have names)

Cherryfang lifted her head from licking Lynxkit to facing her head to the other kits. She heard one kit she had to assume it was her son Olivekit or she thought that was him as he had tumbled over one kit which happened to be Lynxkit who gave a a very verbal mewl of complaint.

Lynxkit had just started to settle to rest when she felt the mass of fur roll over her and she gave a very loud mewl of complaint that was full of attitude.

Robinkit felt her brother knock into him and she was not happy about it. She made his known to her family very verbally, as she mewled. Loudly. Her tiny legs kicked out at thin air in protest, before she settled back down close to her mother.

Swoopkit was enjoying being with his mother and siblings. He trusted that he wouldn't get hurt, and having the ignorance if a recently born kit, didn't care about much else. He squirmed toward's Cherryfang's stomach and starting feeding, loving the taste and scent of the warm milk. After eating, he curled up against her and prepared to sleep, until Olivekit started knocking everyone around. He batted at his brother playfully before loosing balance and falling over, just to be kicked by Robinkit. Mewling, he batted at her as well, before running out of energy. He crawled back over to his mother and tried to find a warm spot.

She felt her tiny paws accidentally kick another cat, by the sounds of it, Swoopkit. She gave a small mew of apologies before curling up tight into a ball, unwilling to be hurt or hurt someone else anymore. She snuggled to her mothers warmth, feeling the heartbeat of Cherryfang against her cheek, she slowly fell asleep.
