Lilykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Fishstar bounded up onto her perch. The sun had warmed the weathered branch beneath her paws. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!"

Lilykit had just woken up from an afternoon nap when she heard Fishstar call out about a clan meeting. She was very curious of what it could be about. She walked out of the nursery sleepily and sat down waiting for the meeting to start.

Bump~

"Lilykit, step forward." Ivyfall called out, looking over at the kit from where she stood underneath Fishstar, who was perched in the willow tree.

Lilykit looked suprised. She stepped foward, curiosity overwhelming her.

"You have reached the age of six moons, and are now ready to be apprenticed. From this day forth, until you become a warrior, you shall be known as Lilypaw. Your mentor shall be Splashwillow. She may be a young warrior, but I believe that this will be a good opportunity for you two to both learn from each other and become what RiverClan needs." Ivyfall glanced over at Fishstar, in confirmation of her decision before finishing. "Splashwillow, do not fear the unknown. You are new at this, but you've proven yourself a warrior to the clan, and have much to teach young Lilypaw. Lead her well as her mentor, teach her the strong values you have always carried. I know she is in good hands."
