Frostkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"All cats old enough to swim gather to hear my words!" Reedstar called. It was about time for another apprentice ceremony. As if the den wasn't crowded enough.

ic; Frostkits ears perked at the sound of a ceremony todays the day!! frostkit thought to her self quickly giving her fur a nice good cleaning, tryin to act calm and look calm she refrained her self from dashin out of the den. Instead she walked out, going to the place cats gather she sat down her ears perked and her eyes full with excitement she couldnt help but wonder who reedstar was going to appoint her mentor as cats came out of their den.

"Frostkit," Reedstar mewed. Funny. He'd known somebody by that name, once. "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Frostpaw. Your mentor will be Ryefur. I hope he will pass down all he knows on to you."

"Ryefur's first apprentice... Time sure flies." Midnightsky smiled at Frostpaw. "We're gonna need a bigger den."

Icepaw sat beside her father. "I bet you took most of the space in the apprentice den when you were younger, you fat fur ball."

"Ice cold as always, Ice paw..."

Ryefur blinked from where he sat, looking up at Reedstar. His first apprentice? He changed his gaze to be at Frostpaw, a bit surprised but as he stood up, he dipped his head. 'I will not let you down, Reedstar," he said as he padded over to his new apprentice and gently dipped his head to touch noses with her.
