Prologue

Trees as dark as muddy water and towering over those who sheltered the shadowed forest looked over anyone and everyone. Mushrooms and different assortments of fungi was in a vast array and placed everywhere. They gave a sickly blue glow and illuminated the trees the formed near. Darker smoker flashes of black and white and hints of purple showed as there were movements in the shadows. Glowing icy blue eyes flashed every now and then. "There has got to be a way out of here or better even a way to see them"He spoke with a calm rage.  Trees blocked out the sky above so shadows ruled the area. A flicker of moment in the shadows and a flash of white. A small black tom with the single white paw stepped from the shadows near the sickly illuminated clearing of sorts. "Surely there is a way out"He muttered silently to himself. He took a step farther and spotted a bloody red colored puddle  a  sharp toothed grinned appeared on the black cat's maw. He tapped the bloody puddle with one white reinforced, clawed paw. The water rippled and an image showed in the water. A kit or well a 7 moons old she cat sat her gaze looking around the alley. He grinned"perfect..... I have finally found my way"He grinned. The white and black scarred tom beside him came over in the sickly glow of the clearing you can see scars marring his face and rips and scars in his pelt."do you think she'll follow your wishes even if it's her destiny"he spoke voice gruff."we will find out"He said swiping a paw over the puddle and the image once there in the puddle vanished and with it a black fog rose up engulfing everything in the clearing. "She will see my way is best"A laugh rose into the foggy darkness."blood will rise again and with it the bane of the clans"The deep laugh came before nothing was seen or heard

Meanwhile a fiery tabby colored tom paced worry alight in his green eyes the image of a black she cat with a white paw, and ginger and Gray speckled pelt showed in the glistening glowing pond but the image was fuzzy."we need to warn the clans"The tom replied in a worried tone. His green eyes looked to the Sandy tabby she cat beside him."we can't for once this is out of even our paws"The she cat mewed solemnly. "No it can't be....they won't see it coming....."He said tail whisking back and forth. The she cat shook her head."it is. Now come let's go"She said."no I'll join you soon Sandstorm"He spoke looking back to the image of the she cat.
