Lucifer's damnation (Open)

Rockthorn struggled to his paws with a choking gasp, his eyes wide as he tipped clumsily onto his rump with his paws coming to his neck only to feel sticky blood come away on his paws. Slumping back onto his front paws he hacked up some of his own blood, the immediate thought that he was dead coming to his mind. Finally looking up the tom noticed the deadened trees, the glowing mushrooms and the stench of rot thick in the air choking him alongside the blood.

Was this his fate? Choking on his blood for all eternity, never to get relief from the iron taste on his tongue? He supposed it was a fitting fate, after all he had done... setting fire to a forest. Maiming his ex-mate and an apprentice, taking a kitten away from Thunderclan... shaking his head the tom stepped deeper into the black forest. The fur along his spine prickling as his green eyes searched the sparse undergrowth, a threatening growl erupting from his ruined throat. "Who's there? Show yourself!" The tom spat, claws unsheathing as he stood still and stiff.

"H-Hello?" Fern called out. Whoever was here now was new, he could tell from their voice. And they seemed... Scared? He stepped out of the shadows, his mangled appearance not likely to be a warm welcome. But this was how he was, and always would be. "If only I had stayed." "H-hi. I'm F-Fern. And y-you are?" He limped his way over to the large cat, his small, tangled form nothing next to his.
