Oh, Boredom [Open]

Weaselpaw hovered over the fresh-kill pile, his nose twitching as he examined his options. After a few moments of very crucial searching, he picked up a decent-sized thrush by the wing and padded a few steps off. Settling down, he tucked his paws under his chest, taking a bite of his bird and looking around slowly. The sun was just starting to sink, but the air still felt pleasantly warm against his fur. He purred softly, flicking his tail and somewhat hoping for another apprentice to come along.

Yawning widely, Icepaw lazily strode over to the fresh-kill pile, picking off a fat rabbit for himself. It was young and tender, just how he liked it. Sinking his teeth in to have a little taste of the carcass as he carried it, he came over to Weaselpaw to join him. Plopping down the rabbit, he stretched before sitting down next to the tom. "A thrush? Nice. Looks pretty good, are you returning from a patrol? Quailfeather really make me work for my meal, it's good to sit down."

Weaselpaw raised his head, giving the other apprentice a friendly nod. "Well," he started after he'd swallowed the bite he'd been chewing. "Mossfoot told me to just see if there was anything I could do around camp today, but at the moment I'm allowed to eat." His feathery tail waved as he took another bite. "I wish I had gone out of camp today." He said it almost ruefully, giving the camp exit a disgruntled glare.
