She was extremely happy. She got apprentice last day and now her regulary duties as warrior, were going to change. Her first mission was to train her apprentice. Her today´s plan was to tell Falconpaw about warrior code and at the same time went accross the ThunderClan territory, so she will get to know with strange smells from ther clan cats. Goosefeather moved into the apprentice den and then with quiet voice called for the tiny apprentice, which was sleeping near the corner of the den. »Falconpaw! Training is going to start now.«

Falconpaw woke with a start, humping his head on the den wall above him before he looked at his mentor. "S-sorry!" He meowed, quickly getting up. Apologizing was his defense mechanism, he just automatically did it when something happened. The apprentice slipped through any sleeping bodies and stood next to her. "What are we doing?" He asked, when he was growing, it wasn't enough of a change compared to the others, he still ate the bare minimum and hoped that with his duties, he'd end up eating more.

Goosefeather answered, ignoring cat´s "sorry". "We are going to get on the border patrol around all ThunderClan territory. When we would be travelling I will teach the warrior code, so you will be able to become the best warrior." Then she noded to Falconpaw and leaded the way out of the camp. First the will go to the RiverClan border and tresspased Snakerocks. This is the dangerous territorry, but she was sure that nothing could happen to apprentice when she was with him.

Falconpaw followed after her, jumping a good couple mouse-lengths in the air when a group of birds was disturbed nearby. He cleared his throat and kept walking, smelling the air. "I'll try my b-best.. I'm sure you're a great mentor but I-I'm not very promising." he meowed a bit doubtful but, he didn't want to seem like he thought she would be a bad mentor. The tom sighed and tried to remind himself of the reason Blizzardshine named him 'Falcon' it was one of the few motivations in his life.

"Of course you will try your best. And our today´s lesson is not hard at all. Only running and walking and talking. After that day I think that you will fell better. And more like future warrior." Young warrior was a little bit confused, because she didn´t expect that she would got so emotional and shy apprentice. But maybe this was the test for her?

With those words, he smiled slightly, not that she could see, he was looking at the ground after all.. He hummed in agreement and his gaze wandered into the branches and treetops. He thought about what Rockthorn had said. "Can... Can you tell me about StarClan too?" He asked, looking forward at his mentor.

Goosefeather thought for a moment and then finally said: "Maybe later. Altough StarClan is the main creator of the warrior code, so we would be talking about it all the time. Now let´s begin." She made her tempo a little faster and began with explanation. "First rule is very important for us, cats. It is like it: Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. Remember it well, because you can be exiled from clan, if you won´t obey the warrior code." Then she continue with second rule: "Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory. This is very breakable rule, which is not obey by the most of cats in the Woods. But if you are the brave warrior, you don´t tresspas and hunt on the other territories. Fighting for the territory is something completely else." Then she stoped and looked to the tiny apprentice: "What do you think about these rules?"

He nodded, "I s-suppose but- Why don't they- we, all live together? We wouldn't need to fight at all then." he asked, quickening his pace to catch up with her. "Surely everyone would b-benefit from that." he meowed. The apprentice looked at the grey warrior, Goosefeather, and sniffed the air.

Goosefeather was shocked. All live together? They were already some cats which wanted this, but everytime they tried something goes bad. She tried to answered calm: "If there will be one clan, then there will be more cats in the clan. Too much. Probably many of the cats won´t obey the chosen leader and sooner or later the new group of the traitors will be created in the this clan. After some days there will be more clans again. Falconpaw, we are not created for a life in is big society We are divided into four clans because only so we can like in the friendship. We maybe fight with other clans, but these fights are not always serious."
