Bonding Patrol [Closed]

Riverclan? Alright.. She was fine with that. "Alright." She said. Hopefully they wouldn't run into any patrols.. That wouldn't be fun. Especially for just the two of them.

Mottleheart didn't reply to her simple response and they moved in silence until the roaring of the water filled the air and the gorge came into sight. The border between WindClan and RiverClan...Almost completely impassable if it wasn't for the bridge that connected the two territories. He tasted the air and for a second fear seized him as the scent of RiverClan was fresh but he soon realized it was because a patrol had passed not long before. He didn't mind the Clan as it had been a long time since their attack on WindClan but he still wasn't eager to interact with them in fear that things would get out of paw. "Come on, lets make this quick," he said as he picked up the pace, making sure to remain far from the edge of the gorge. Unlike the Thunderpath, the gorge was always dangerous and if you fell in and lived...Well, StarClan truly favored you.

As soon as the approached the gorge the same fear that course through Mottleheart for a moment paused through Raccoonpaw too, but like him it didn't last as long. She was glad that they missed the patrol. It probably wouldn't have ended well if they had run into each other. Her attention returned to her father as soon as he spoke. "Okay." The apprentice said, following after her father.

His steps were swift, wanting to waste no more time here then needed...Not that much time was needed in the first place. There was little risk of RiverClan crossing the border with the gorge in their way. Few cats were stupid enough to try to jump even the narrowest part for fear of the great drop below and he was sure even with how fishbrain RiverClan could be that they would prefer to take the bridge into WindClan territory then risk missing the jump. But yet he kept his mouth open for anything out of place but was relieved to see that nothing seemed to be off. Seems like RiverClan was staying on their territory...With a satisfied nod, he jerked his head in the direction of the camp as he turned to face his young daughter. "Everything looks good, lets head back to the camp and call it a day," he purred as he started to stroll forward, happy that they hadn't ran into any trouble.
