Viperpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Crowstar called out, "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

Viperpaw attended happily. Her eyes were bright, and she was conscious that it would be important. As per usual, she took her spot in the middle, but edging towards the front. Her green eyes stared up impatiently at Crowstar, the caliginous pelt of the SkyClan-born leader shining, and making hers seem gossamer and thin in contrast. Her tail waved, low to the ground, as she waited for it to formally begin.

Pansypaw bounced out of the apprentice's den, a smile on her face. She was in a very good mood that day, and it showed through boundless energy. Dashing up to her cousin Viperpaw, who was sitting in her usual spot, she bumped her head affectionately against the she-cat's shoulder and took a seat next to her. "Hey! Do you know what this is about?"

Hollypaw Slowly joined the gathering cats. The she-cat stifled a yawn as she took a seat beside Viperpaw. " Nice cold day for a warrior ceramony. Don't you agree?" she mewed knowing it was her friends ceramony.

Why does Pansypaw seem so happy? thought Viperpaw. She looked at both of them, as Hollypaw, additionally, padded up to her. "Not sure," said Viperpaw to her cousin, the ebullient she-cat, Pansypaw. She then glanced at Hollypaw, as she piped a comment of her own. "Indeed," she meowed, with the slightest phantom of a smile hanging from her muzzle. She then turned her head to look at Crowstar. "Let's see," she purred to both of them.

"The time has come for an apprentice to join the ranks of the warriors. Viperpaw come forward." The black leader said.

Viperpaw, enthusiastically, stepped up to receive her warrior name. She gazed at Crowstar attentively.

Breezewhisker watched proudly as his daughter became a warrior.

Fawnsplash sat next to Breezewhisker, eyes shining with pride, as she watched her daughter become a warrior.

"What!" Pansypaw's excited exclamation rang around the camp, but she didn't care if it was disruptive. Her cousin was getting her warrior name! Purring, Pansypaw watched happily as Viperpaw walked up to Crowstar.

Viperpaw smiled at Pansypaw, glad to get her new name. What will it be? she wondered. Vipergorse? Viperfur? Viperpelt? she rambled internally.
