Chilly, Windy Mornings [Open]

Mottlekit's ears perked, his eyes widening with awe when Duskpaw started to talk about the moor. It pained him that he couldn't go and see it but was steady in his resolution not to leave the camp and risk getting in trouble. He didn't want his apprentice ceremony to be delayed when he was so close to being six moons old. But the idea of such freedom was tantalizing with how cramp the camp could seem at times with so many cats around. But Mottlekit found himself frowning slightly at Duskpaw talked about the gorge. "The...Gorge?" he asked with a flicker of one of his ears, wondering what such a place was.

"It's a place where there are two wide cliffs facing each other and a bunch of water falls down in the middle cascading down to the bottom." Duskstorm explained. "Not a very nice place when you fall inot it tho." His amber eyes flashed with the memories of the past: Beetlekit (Idon't know) falling in and Deerpaw as well.

Mottlekit's eyes where wide with amazement as he listened to Duskpaw, his mouth half open as he took in every word. His mind raced to picture such a scene but had trouble putting it all together with what little of the world he had seen from inside of the camp. The wide chasm between the two cliffs with water streaming down it...He couldn't picture it as well as he liked but knew he wanted to see it one day when he was an apprentice - but made note that he was to be careful not to fall in. "What are some other cool places that you have seen?" he said in a breathless whisper, wanting to know all that he could about the outside world that seemed to be just whisker-lengths away but out of touch.

"Fourtrees were the Gatherings are held." Duskstorm replied feeling sorry that the little kit couldn't go out of camp. "It's a place where it has four giant trees and the leaders sit in the branches." His eyes shone with awe. "I've only been there once."

Fourtrees. Mottlekit made a mental note of that name - striving to see it one day such like the gorge. He was jealous of Duskpaw, wishing he was an apprentice so that he could see this sights for himself. His eyes glimmered as he jumped to his paws, puffing out his chest as he grinned widely at the older tom. "One day, I'm going to see amazing places for myself!" he boasted as his tail swished back and forth "I want to go places that little cats have gone before!" He wanted to see places that not even Duskpaw had seen before. But...Deep down he knew he couldn't truly do that. He wanted to be the best warrior that WindClan had ever seen and he couldn't bare the thought of being away from his Clanmates. But well, a kit could dream.
