"Looks like some were to slow," Hazepaw remarked.Hazepaw gave the air another quick scent checking her chosen prey was still near.The prey,a little thrush,was unaware of the fact it was being stalked and so happily continued pecking away at the little food available.Hazepaw darted to a bush,checking her scent was downwind she began to move forward cautiously.She was so close she could hear the bird's breathing,it was oblivious and that was exactly how Hazepaw wanted it.In fact she was so close that she could stretch out her paw and kill it like that.Carefully Hazepaw stretched out her paw then she brought it down on the thrush's head,dazing.Quickly she delivered the killing bite to neck.She picked up the limp carcass and carried it back to the where she had sat.Hazepaw buried the kill and then returned to where she sat a moment before.
