A Patrol [closed]

Making his way into the apprentice den, Antdrop found Tigerpaw and prodded the apprentice's side. "Wake up," he meowed and excited the den. Sitting outside, the black tom waited for his new apprentice to emerge, ready to go on their patrol.

Tigerpaw shot up, nearly crashing his head through the bracken and collapsing the den.
 
His eyes, right when they opened, were bright yellow and eager. He shook off his russet and black pelt, making a feeble attempt to get rid of the moss stuck on his fur.
He leapt outside, eyes wide with excitement. 

"Let's go!" he cheered, turning in a spastic circle and dashing off towards the entrance of camp.

Letting out a sigh, Antdrop padded out of the den and followed his apprentice towards the entrance of the camp. How could someone be so energetic for this early in the morning? Making his way to the entrance, he flicked his tail for the two of them to keep going. "We'll patrol first and then do some hunting," he meowed, making his way to the border closest to ThundeClan.

"Ooh! Hunting!" Tigerpaw flicked his ears forward excitedly. "I'll be great. You're the best hunter, right? In the clan? That's what I heard. I forget from who, though. Where are we patrolling?"
He trotted beside Antdrop, nearly half the size of the warrior.
Eaglepaw will be so jealous! I bet he hasn't even started hunting yet...
