I Just Don't Want To Fall Away [Open]

Mistywater sat around in ThunderClan territory, trying to stay peaceful as she heard the birds chirping and the tree leaves on the trees wave around in the breezes that came every few seconds, but that felt good that she knew that something was with her.

Blacktwig walked over to the she-cat, smiling gently. He loved his mother with all of his heart; he missed Emberfall, and Morningshine would never let him be with her, but now his family was his top priority. The black tom's tiny speckles shone against his pelt. "Hi, Mistywater!" He purred.

Mistywater smiled as she heard her son call her name "Hello, Blacktwig" she mewed "Enjoying the thought of being a father?" she asked.

Blacktwig nodded excitedly. "They're getting bigger," he meowed with a large smile on his face. He sat down beside Mistywater, gazing up contently at the clouds above him.

Mistywater looked at the nursery "Any of them apprentices?" she asked.

Blacktwig shook his head, but a sparkle appeared in his bright violet-bluish eyes. He raised his tail with thought. "None of them yet, but they should be soon," he purred hopefully, his gaze carefully edging the figure of a slim cedar tree.

Mistywater nodded "Are you excited of the thought of you being a grandfather someday?" she purred with a laugh, it was quite fun to think of a cat who was just yesterday a kit with new black fur, then the next day all old and fur turning white.

"I hope so," Blacktwig chuckled. Then, a spark returned to his eye, and he gave Mistywater a comical sideways glance. "But I found out who she likes," he said with a smirk.

Mistywater began to blush as she smiled and looked at her son "Who?" she asked with a purr.

Blacktwig's voice dropped to a low, amused whisper. "I think she likes the black-and-white tom. Littlekit, I believe?" Blacktwig blinked a few times, thought clouding his vision. The tom, who was still fairly young, looked somewhat proud and entertained.

Mistywater nodded "Interesting" she mewed "Anything new about this tom?" she asked.

"Not entirely sure," Blacktwig gossiped in a low tone, making sure that Mottledkit or Littlekit wasn't around to hear their words. Blacktwig would've reported everything to his mother if he knew.
