A Small White Bundle (Open!)

Goatkit swung her head around in a single, frail motion. As if she were a juvenile horse, she propped herself up shakily on her four paws. The small white she-cat staggered forwards, tiny knees buckling as her dark pink gaze mustered to swipe around the clearing. Her paws touched the ground more gracefully now, with a gulp accompanying jerky, choppy movements. Wind buffeted her white strands of fur, swaying like tall grass in the midday breeze. With a blink, she returned her gaze to the ground, wondering if anyone would see past her awkward movements and clumsy demeanour. She shook violently before collapsing, then scrambling to her paws. The scent of fresh-kill was not far off, and it soothed Goatkit greatly.

Emberpaw had been sitting near a lonely tree that had well shade. She looked around to see a kit, she felt like she would be a great mother some day and felt like becoming friends with a kit was a start. She padded over and smiled "First time out of the nursery, little one?" she asked with warm cheeks.

"Yes," Goatkit replied, flushing with embarrassment. The apprentice was so casual, so carefree, and here she was, worrying about her words. The small white kit stumbled over on large, clumsy paws, until she sat down next to Emberpaw. Attempting to be as smooth as she was, the kit spoke in a quiet, yet somewhat bold voice. "How was your day?" She asked, eyes glazed over with anxiety.

Emberpaw shrugged "I've had better ones, just I'm really lonely and I would love seeing Blacktw-" she stopped remembering she was in WindClan, not ThunderClan. If this was where she lived then she couldn't tell a single soul about him, not even their meetings, she had already found out he was with another she-cat but that was enoguh already. She knew she could still trust him and would always give him another chance.

"Who's 'Blacktw'?" Goatkit asked, sitting down. She believed that he was a cat from WindClan, and didn't know he wasn't. "Is he your mate?" She guessed correctly.

Emberpaw had now gotten herself into more questions, if more cats were to gather, she would be in deep trouble. She shook her head "No" she lied, it worked, hopefully.

Goatkit smiled. "Okay, close friends then," she assumed, seeming to have no problem with that as she pranced around the tree, looking for a mossy spot to sit. And so she did, there were not many trees in the moor. The kit seemed friendly, so to say.

Emberpaw purred "Yeah, close friends" she whispered, she really did miss Blacktwig though, she swore that if any cat would find out, she would make them keep that secret quiet, but it was still found out and that couldn't be fixed. "So, enough about me, what about you? How's your day been?" she asked.

"Good!" She cheered, skipping on her teensy white paws. She always found joy in the simplest of things, and with this experienced apprentice, she felt comfortable. She gave a few satisfied blinks.

Emberpaw laughed "Your so cute you know" she mewed "You know, when I become a warrior, I'm planning on having kits" she explained, thinking about how happy Blacktwig would be with having his own children to care for.

Goatkit smiled happily. Her paws set on the tree. "Cool! I wonder what it must be like," she meowed, her white fur short yet puffy. "I don't know why I don't have any siblings," Goatkit glanced at the nursery again.

Emberpaw glanced at the nursery quickly just like Goatkit "Well, I'm sure some queen is able to adopt you. I'm turning into a warrior soon, I could" she mewed "You'll have siblings to play with and they'll look up to you I'm sure" she mewed.

Goatkit nodded excitedly. "Yeah!" She mewled without a thought, leaping up. "You seem like you would be a good mother," she complimented, licking a forepaw.

Emberfall purred "I'm not yet a mother, I'll have to tell you one thing though" she leaned in to Goatkit's ear "Your father is well...In ThunderClan, Blacktwig" she mewed "That who I was talking about earlier, you can't tell anyone though" she mewed.

(So, is she really adopting Goat? I'm fine with it)

Goatkit purred silently. "I won't," she promised, seeing no harm in the vow. Her gaze wandered around before letting it rest on a moth, beige wings fluttering softly. She stalked forwards lopsidedly, tail-tip touching the ground, before pouncing. Claws met its silky wings, and, injured, it flew around in her paws. Stabbed with guilt, Goatkit opened her paws and let it fly away. "Did you see that?" She called proudly. "I'm a really good hunter!"
