A Storm is here!

He looks a little sad.

Stormkit nodded at Beetlekit, delighted. "Come on, play with us......um......" she mewed to Rowankit before she realized she hadn't even learnt his name. "Um, what's your name?"

"Huh? Oh, my names Rowankit," he said. "What are you playing?"

"Oh! Ok, Rowankit!" She looked at Beetlekit with starry eyes, searching for a reaction, then turned back to Rowankit. "Well, we were pretending that I'm the evil Dark Forest cat who wants to take over the whoooooooooooole forest, and you guys are the warriors!"

Beetlekit's fictitious eyebrows raised with intrigue. To be frank, he wasn't exactly too keen about Rowankit joining them in their game. Rowankit didn't seem very competent, but since Beetlekit knew nothing about Rowankit, he decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe there was something in this kitten that Stormkit had seen which was oblivious to Beetlekit's own eyes.

He stopped thinking about Rowankit's predicament rather quickly; after all, the problems of others were not his. What can I do about it, anyways? He supposed he could try and do something huge to help Rowankit, but that'd take away from Beetlekit's own time. In the end, Rowankit shouldn't have lost his parents in the first place.

Focusing in on the present, he assessed his current situation. Our game! he thought eagerly, excited to try some team combat. Stormkit was about to be defeated by them at this rate, but a funny thought popped into Beetlekit's brain.

Paying heed to it, he mused, "One dark forest warrior can't beat three WindClan warriors ... We should get another cat to be a dark forest warrior, or make it harder to defeat you, Stormkit. We could do that by making you able to turn other people into dark forest warriors by touching their tails or ears. What do you think?"

Stormkit's eyes lit up. "Yes! That's a wonderful idea!"
