Even a wolf has humble beginnings [Open]

Toadpaw yowled and sunk his teeth into her neck, this reminded him of the move he had used on Clearpaw when he had fought his brother.

The pain throbbed in her neck and her stomach, but she was determined to show Toadpaw that she was capable. She lifted a paw, swiping at his face with her paw, and slapping his face with her other paw. She flailed her hind paws, trying to pummel Toadpaw's belly with her unsheathed claws.

Since Toadpaw was used to pain someone one him and did something to react to that he usually clenched his teeth, he sunk his into her neck more, he stopped when he tasted blood and when he felt his teeth reach a deep part of her neck. He looked at her "Ya, you sure are some sort of apprentice, but you did a good job" he purred, licking the blood from her neck "I like to see how strong and intellengent people are before becoming friends with them, your good enough I guess" he mewed.

Seedkit stood from where she had been pinned, and stared at Toadpaw. She couldn't believe that she had fought another cat!
"Do you fight everyone you meet?" She asked warily, "Or do you just ask them questions to test their intelligence?"

Toadpaw shook his head "No, depending on how they act is how I test" he mewed "But you seem like both" he mewed purring.

Seedkit stifled a laugh, "Well I'm glad I seem worthy in your eyes, your majesty." She joked, bowing.
And I'm glad your merciful too!" She thought as a sharp throbbing began going through her neck where Toadpaw had bitten her.

Wolfkit could see that Toadpaw and Seedkit had the possibility of getting along in the future; she didn't approve of the way Toadpaw treated other cats, though. What kind of friend tested someone's worthiness for friendship? Someone who thought that were a lot better than everyone else, that was for sure. Toadpaw, she thought, would be a potential rival, for sure. She wondered if she ought to try and get Seedkit on her side, against him. "Seedkit, leave that mouse-brain alone." She mewed, waving her tail dismissively at Toadpaw, "Let's go play."

"Er, I wouldn't call him a mouse-brain, but whatever. I guess we can go prank someone or something." She responded, padding over to stand beside her sister.

Hazelkit heard screeching and the swift breath of claws swiping the air. What's going on out there? she thought, panicked. She had never experienced a real-life fight in her life; she was only four moons old. So those sounds signaled to her that something bad was happening. She cowered in her nest, trying to stop any sounds from escaping her. When she smelled blood, however, her natural warrior instincts told her to go help her Clanmates. So she shook off her fear (sort of) and crept forward, leaving Willowkit's, Snowkit's, and her mom's sides, determined to be brave and strong to defend her Clan. She poked her head out of the nursery.

At first sight, all she could see was a big cat pinning a kitten down on the ground, but suddenly the big cat stepped off and started being nice. What the heck? Hazelkit thought curiously, still suspicious. But then she recognized Toadpaw, and felt relief wash over her. It was only a game!

She dashed over to the group, hearing the word prank. That word was music to her ears. Her whole life was based on making jokes, either practical, rude, or slightly mean. She LOVED jokes, and fun. Jokes + Fun = PRANKS. "Hey guys! Did someone just say prank?" she whispered excitedly, keeping her voice down so that whoever was their future victim wouldn't hear her.

"I did!" Seed kit responded mischeviously. She stared at Hazelkit, smiling, "Wanna do one with Wolfkit and I?"

Toadpaw purred at his little sister, Hazelkit "And who are you going to prank exactly, I promise you cant do it to me" he mewed.

OOC: Sorry for the OOC only post, but I think we should wait for Rainbow because this is her topic about her character anyway...

Hazelkit purred out of excitement. "Totally! What'll we do?" She personally hoped to prank an apprentice - she didn't really know why. Apprentices were simply more fun to prank, maybe because they think they're so cool for becoming an apprentice, and then they get pranked by a kit... I dunno, Hazelkit shrugged to herself, it's just more fun. Her tail was shivering in excitement. She looked at Seedkit's neck, and sniffed her cuts. She smelled Toadpaw. She whipped her head around to glare at Toadpaw. Her natural craving for jokes (sometimes mean, as said) was taking on, and Toadpaw had basically just asked for one of her taunts. "Wow, Toadpaw. You're treating Seedkit as if she's as weak and stinky as you! Unfortunately, she's not as unblessed as StarClan made you, so back off." Rather proud of her snappy comeback, she waved her tail in glory.

She purred to show Toadpaw that it was just a joke, and answered him. "I hope we can prank an apprentice... And I promise it's unlikely that we'll prank you," she added jokingly.

(( Sorry guys! I am in the process of moving out (or I WAS, until my leasing agent called and said that the apartment that she said would be available June 1st won't be available till August -.- A rant for another time xD), so thanks for waiting up :) ))

Wolfkit thought about the idea of pulling a prank-- she thought it was a bit silly, but then again, it could be fun. Cats were always telling her to relax and have fun. "Maybe we could prank Oakpaw." She suggested-- honestly, her first choice of cats would be Toadpaw. She would love to get under his skin, prank him and have him never find out who did it... But, sadly, he was standing right beside them. So he was out. Then there was Clearpaw, but she had no reason to want to get under his skin. He was a lousy fighter, barely caught any prey, and spent next to no time in camp-- he was no threat. Cloudpaw was a medicine-cat apprentice, there was no need to be getting under his skin or trying to get ahead. So, that left Oakpaw-- a good apprentice, someone with the potential to be a rival. Someone who Wolfkit could benefit from knowing how to get a rise out of.

Toadpaw blushed a small bit "N-No! She's p-probably out hunting" he mewed trying not to give away his feelings, she would probably think that he was in the prank and maybe hate him...
