Nothing Suspicious Here, Folks! [Closed for Rainpaw]

OOC: Should they encounter a fox or a badger or something to make this more interesting?

IC: "Come on, hurry!" She said, as she scampered out of dirtplace. When the territory unfolded around her, her eyes opened wide in wonder. She began to race ahead.
It's huge! She thought.
She didn't know where the outskirts of the territory were, so that would kind of foil her plan...but she had an apprentice with her.
"Rainpaw...where's the outskirts of the territory?" She asked, stopping.
She had to make sure that nothing would get in the way of their journey.

Rainpaw followed after her, keeping his ears pricked for any sounds that could indicate other cats. "Well, the Thunderpath is that way," he beckoned with his tail, "and that's our border with Thunderclan. The Windclan border is further that way."


(( Sure! How about a badger? I was going to say an incident with a monster, but that is like, too serious? ))

"Okay! Then we start there are go around." She said, going towards the ThunderClan border where Rainpaw had pointed out to her.

Rainpaw nodded, and started leading the way carefully towards the Thunderclan border. "You have to be very, very careful around the Thunderpath." He meowed seriously, "The twoleg monsters are dangerous, you must not get close enough for it to touch you!"

"What do they look li-" She was cut off as the roar of some sort of creature blared, and a bright red...thing...raced by.
"Was that a monster?1?" She asked, horrified.

Rainpaw pressed his stomach against the ground as the monster raced by; he had seen a few before, but it was still frightening. "Yeah," he mewed quietly, "that was one. They never seem to leave the Thunderpath, so we're safe here, but you can't touch the Thunderpath. Okay?"

Frostedkit nodded.
"I guess we can keep going then." She said quietly.
She began padding off along the edge of the Thunder path, still unsure if this was the right way to go...as long as she was following the outskirts.

Rainpaw followed after Frostedkit, keeping quiet so that he could hear any noise-- the Thunderpath made it hard, though. Soon enough, they were heading away from it, and he was able to smell the normal scents, and the harsh scent of the Thunderpath was faint. "Frostedkit, stop!" He hissed suddenly, flattening himself against the ground and pressing close to Frostedkit; a new scent had reached his nose, one that he hadn't smelled before... He had smelled it only faint and stale. It was a badger. "There's a badger somewhere nearby." He mewed quietly, "We should head back to camp, Frostedkit, the two of us might not be able to fight one off..."

"A badger? Like, one of those creatures that the elders talk about in their stories?" She asked, looking over her shoulder.
She bumped into something furry...and large.
A gust of hot breath came at her and she saw a large muzzle swing around to stare at her with beady, black eyes.
"B-b-b-BADGER!"

Rainpaw turned around, his eyes wide in shock and fear. "Frostedkit, go back to camp." He meowed quickly, "Maybe if you send some warriors, we can fight it off!" The badger swiped out a massive paw at him, and he pushed Frostedkit back so that it missed them both, then he lashed out with his claws unsheathed, raking them across the badger's face. The badger only seemed to become angry, however.

"O-okay! Got it!" She yelped. She turned to go, but before she did, she realized that she shouldn't leave her friend there alone. Maybe she could lead it away from camp...but she wasn't fast enough...
I have to at least try...
With a loud, high-pitched scream, Frostedkit raced as fast as she could past the badger, staying clear of it. She flicked a stick at it with her paws, getting it's attention, before racing off again.

Rainpaw was doing his best to hold off the creature with quick blows, but it was still advancing-- that was, until Frostedkit raced past. She caught its attention, and it started lumbering after her. Rainpaw knew that badgers weren't terribly fast, but they were vicious and this would still be extremely dangerous until they managed to chase it away. So, Rainpaw took advantage of the badger's distraction and jumped onto its back, clawing out huge chunks of its fur and drawing blood with his hind paws. "Good job, Frostedkit!" He meowed as the creature started howling in pain and trying to shake Rainpaw off.

She glanced over her shoulder, seeing that the badger had stopped to try to get Rainpaw off. So she stayed a safe distance away from the badger, waiting just in case she needed to distract it again. She couldn't let it go towards camp...if it did, the badger might find the camp and kill and wreck everything and everyone! She then had an idea...the Thunderpath...
What if...what if I could get it onto the Thunderpath!
"Rainpaw! Try to keep it there! I'm going to find something to throw at it!" She called. She didn't wait for an answer, she just leapt off into the foliage to find something to fling at the badger and distract it again.

Rainpaw, obviously not knowing Frostedkit's whole plan to lure the badger onto the thunder path, nodded and kept on clawing at it while he awaited her return. He was actually surprised at how well they were fairing so far... Maybe, just maybe, they could both escape unharmed. As long as Frostedkit didn't get hurt, Rainpaw would be happy, but it certainly would be nice if he didn't get hurt, either.

She scampered around the undergrowth, looking for something to throw at the badger. A rock stuck in the ground caught her attention. She scooped it up in her jaws, racing back to the fight scene.
"Take this, badger!" She taunted, her voice muffled by the rock. She leapt up, flinging the rock at the badger's eye. It didn't hit it square in the eye, like Frostedkit had hoped, but the sharp edge scraped right below it's eye, and it knocked against it's muzzle.
I hope this works... She thought nervously as the badger turned it's beady, furious gaze towards her.
When it began chasing her, she turned back towards the Thunderpath, and began running towards it. She knew what she was doing...she just didn't know if StarClan wanted her to join them now...

OOC: By the way, don't worry, she won't die. I'll find a way to make her not die without godmodding. <:
