Falconpaw followed Rosepaw over the border and barely kept a dirt-eating grin off of his face. This definitely shouldn't be as much fun as it was. With a calm expression and walk, he moved toward the nearest oak tree. Falconpaw demonstrated his ability with ease. With practiced swiftness, the white and gold tom clambered up the tree as fast as any squirrel could have, if not even faster. He hoisted himself up onto a branch and stared down at Rosepaw. Okay, now this was playing out as his dream had...

"Come on up. I don't expect you to climb as fast as me, so just take your time and don't hurt yourself, alright?" He waited a moment before deciding to add a few pointers. "Trust me, it's better to go slow and make it up here than to try to move fast and fall. Make sure your claws have a solid hold in the bark before you try climbing higher and move one paw at a time."

He didn't want her hurt... he needed her up here with him. The branch he chose was the lowest one, but it was still several fox-lengths up. He crouched down on the branch and was ready to grab her scruff to help her up when she got nearer. She made it up here in his dream... or at least the tabby Rosepaw did. She'd be okay... right?

"Rule #1 is that you've gotta have fun!"

All possible suspicions were quickly devoured by the energy that surged through her now that her mind was dead-set on this tree and surmounting it. The tom whom she escorted didn’t waste a second, zipping up the oak with such grace it was almost as if Starclan themself was lifting him. She watched in awe for only a second before giving a huff of annoyance. So much for manners. Though her paws urged her to speed on impulse, his advice gave her second thought. She’d followed his logic this far, what sense would it make to deny it now?

Rosepaw stretched up as much as she could before hooking her claws into the rough bark. Only as she began to pull herself up did she remember the risks. It’d be harder for her than the average cat, due to her weak heart. Not only was the chance of falling even more threatening, but what truly got her adrenaline pumping was the thought of Falconpaw realizing how hard this would be for her. That she struggled to do something he so easily could. Rosepaw couldn’t feel more infuriated by the possibility.

She pulled herself up the next step, simple spite giving her the strength needed. As the tom leaned down to assist she immediately hissed at the offer, “Don’t you dare think about it!” Rosepaw hitched her claws into the branch and clambered on. Though her chest heaved and her head felt light as feathers, the molly desperately tried to play it cool. “Hah!” she triumphantly mewed between thin gasps for air, “Easy!” Rosepaw's gaze lingered on his to make sure the tom still thought highly of her.

Falconpaw watched Rosepaw slowly make her way up. He wouldn't say it out loud but she reminded him of a kit. Skyclan kits were timid about climbing... until they weren't. He leaned down to help her back up the rest of the way, but her words stopped him mid-attempt. He leaned back on the branch and closed his mouth that would have been on her scruff. He wasn't sure what to think about her heavy breathing though. Was she okay? Maybe Thunderclan cats just didn't have great stamina when it came to verticals.

"Yeah... good job!" He said, now unsure of what to do next. What happened after? Right! Falconpaw leaned closer to her, acting like he was adjusting his footing.

"Your territory doesn't look too terribly different from ours. What is..." he spotted a large oak tree in the distance and pointed his paw at it. "that big oak tree over there? Is it special?" And he leaned in just a bit... and his tail "accidentally" brushed up against her's. He leaned back a bit away from her and feigned embarrassment.

"Oops! I'm sorry!" He chuckled sheepishly and waited to see what would happen. Okay Starclan, I did it... now what? What happens now?
