The nursery was warm as always as the RiverClan warrior, Ivyfall curled up around her kits. She'd found Timberkit outside of camp, and had chosen to adopt the little thing. He looked so small, so thin, the former queen couldn't resist taking him in as her own. Laying on her soft nest, she gently rasped her pink tongue over his fur.

As RoseKit snuggled with her mother, she was aware of another kit by her side. She lifted her head and sniffed him, before laying down again. She softly purred as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Timberkit was aware of being adopted but liked the warmness of the nest he was purring but still awake although his eyes were closed.
