Riverclan claims victory

After battle Silverwing followed her clan back to camp. She was proud that her clan had one the battle. She hoped they didnt have to many serious injures if any. When she got into the camp she paused so that rest clan could enter. She began licking a wound she got from one of the Thunderclan cats.

Wailingstream had taken his time getting back to camp, aiding his sister Icetail, who was badly injured. It had been an exhausting fight, but they'd won. None of his clanmates had died, so all was well.

"Ill get Sparrowpaw." Silverwing said before heading to the medicine den "Sparrowpaw we need you!" she callled for the medicine cat

Patchpaw strode into the clearing, tail raised high. His first battle ended in victory! And he didn't even ruin his beautiful pelt~ The long-haired tomcat sat in the clearing, licking blood from a wound in his leg. Luckily, the bleeding had already started to stop, as if helping keep Patchpaw's fur in perfect condition. He spotted the badly injured Icetail (who I'm unsure will even post again ;-; ) and nosed her fur. "Will she be okay?" he asked her brother, Wailingstream.

Sparrowpaw came in after them, unable to hide her satisfaction. Sure, it had been close, but they had driven those ThunderClan mousebrains off, Sunningrocks remained there's for another day, and there hadn't been any bloodshed. That was the best result they could've hoped for.

"Of course," she snapped at Silverwing. They'd need to stop the bleeding and give her some herbs for strength, but otherwise she'd be fine. It looked bad, but it wasn't anything outside the power of a medicine cat. "Wailingstream, help her over to my den. Someone soak some moss in water and bring it over too. She mostly just needs to drink and rest for now."

She couldn't help but lash her tail, quickly unsheathing and sheathing her claws again. "The words I'm going to share with Nightfire the next time I see her..." Ridiculous. Attacking them because of an accident? It was their own dumb Clanmate's fault they died. Was Spottedstar behind all that?

"No, but she will be." He spoke to his apprentice, Patchpaw had fought well and he was proud to be the apprentice's mentor. "Go rest, Patchpaw. And have Sparrowpaw tend to that wound."

"Of course." Wailingstream aided his sister to the medicine cat den, he barely felt his wounds, so worried for her. Should there be a next time, Wailingstream would be sure to rake the tom's eyes out for harming Icetail so badly. Over an accident, he thought to himself angrily, even the mere thought of the Thunderclan scum infuriated him. He had to speak to Fishpelt about this, the whole fight was ridiculous, at least they'd won. But he feared that this whole fight was far from over. Who knew what those mouse-brained cats were thinking up, they'd already shown they were hot-headed fools.

Otterfur strode into the camp, looking proudly unto his son as he wandered into the clearing. "The entire clan fought well." He muttered, glancing back for any sign of his other child Rainpaw was there as well. He'd have to tell their leader of the apprentice's bravery. He'd be foolish to miss it. A weak purr held in his throat as he winced from a few stings. It hurt, and he probably would get a few scars, but they would be nothing but tales of pride for him. "Tonight we should celebrate."

Patchpaw nodded at her response. He wasn't quite reassured by it, but he knew that Sparrowpaw knew what she was doing. He shook his head at Wailingstream's command. "It's fine. I'm not tired, and there are plenty of other cats that need help. A little scrape is nothing to me." The tomcat eyed his wound once more before licking it clean.

His father's scent entered the camp. Patchpaw glanced up from his grooming. The proud look from his father sent a soft feeling of gratification throughout his body. He'd helped down two much larger warriors from ThunderClan! Today was a great day for RiverClan.

Rainpaw's ears flicked, her jaws giving an annoying twitch as she watched Sparrowpaw treat others. Rainpaw personally didn't like Sparrowpaw at all, she was too disrespectful too hostile.. Even though they were partly kin being related to Reedstar after all Rainpaw just didn't like Sparrowpaw. Rainpaw glanced around too look for her father and her brother , she slowly slipped towards them a quiet purr rising from her throat. Not saying much but brushing up against her fathers ruff brown pelt, her crystal eye giving a twinkle of happiness. They did win after all why not celebrate

Silverwing nodded. She was going to make sure eeveyrone else treated before she was.

Otterfur was a bit surprised when his daughter came up behind him, rubbing herself against his side lovingly. With a smile, the tom swiped his tongue affectionately across her head. He'd never been more proud of his children than then. They'd really proven themselves as capable warriors, and as far as he thought, RiverClan was lucky to have them. "I'm sure your mother must be very proud of you both." He meowed, glancing from Rainpaw to Patchpaw again.

Icetail, badly wounded, nodded at Sparrowpaw. She smiled at her friend Patchpaw affectionately and flciked her tail for him to come closer. Though in pain two out of three of her favorite toms were there- Patchpaw and Wailingstream. "Thanks, Sparrowpaw." She turned to Patchpaw. "I'm sorry." She mewed sadly. "That everything has come crashing down now that Gingerpaw is dead. She was probably a great sister." She said quietly, unknowing that Gingerpaw loved Wailingstream (OwO)

ic: Patchpaw's heart ached at the speak of his mother. He'd never met her, but he always dreamed of what she would have looked like. A beautiful gray tabby and eyes of the deepest blue, he recalled Otterfur telling him. He hung his head, feeling pain jab inside his chest.

The apprentice heard his close friend stir near him, and he glanced over to see her. He butted her with his head, glad to see that she was still conscious. "Are you okay?" he asked in between licks, lapping at a scar on her face. At the mention of Gingerpaw, he felt the same pain in his chest as before. "Yeah," was all the tom uttered.

"Hush." Wailingstream spoke, placing a paw gently onto his sister who was (as far as he was concerned) using up precious energy that she couldn't afford to spare. Also remembering late Gingerpaw made his heart ache in a way that made him feel like picking a fight with the river that had claimed her. She'd been so young, so beautiful. A moon or two more and she would have been a warrior alongside him. But those were thoughts for another time, his sister needed him. "Don't waste your strength, Icetail. Always jabbering, you fish-brain."

"And you, Patchpaw. At least make sure your wound isn't going to get infected. I won't have my apprentice out for a moon over something that could have been avoided." Riverclan needed all its battle trained warriors/apprentices available, Thunderclan was unlikely to just let this defeat go. And a fine young tom like Patchpaw could be the difference between a win or a loss.

Silverwing sat outside the warriors den watching the clan. She walked away from the medicine den where cats getitng treated to give them room to treat her clanmates. Silverwing would go back when it wasnt crowded. She had a scratch on her sholder from one of the thunderclan cats but she would wait
