| Snakekit walked, well, sort of crawled, out into the clearing. He sat down. He looked up at the sky. He saw a butterfly. He jumped up. He swatted and swatted, and soon pinned down the butterfly. He clawed it's colorful wing with her tiny claws, and picked it up with his little fangs. He smiled through it. |

| Mistpaw padded out of the apprentice's den, approaching her brother and the kit. "You'll be a good hunter." she commented, piggy backing off of Briarpaw's compliment. It was a lousy attempt at friendly conversation, but the she cat was never very good at being what one might call "nice". Half-hearted compliments were about all you would get out of her. "The camp has been quiet recently, hasn't it?" she directed her second statement more in her brother's direction. ______________________________________ Characters:

| Snakekit set down the butterfly. He thanked Mistpaw for the complement. He couldn't wait until he was an apprentice, and had Mistpaw as a denmate, not just a clanmate. |

| Eaglefeather padded over to Snakekit "Hey, make sure to keep away from Mistpaw, she can be-a bit of a- well lets say she's just hard" she murmured into Snakekit's ear as she padded over to the nursery and laid down in the front of it eyeing Mistpaw sharply. |

| Mistpaw nodded, acknowledging Snakekit's gratitude. He seemed like a respectable tom. Mistpaw wouldn't mind a denmate who wasn't constantly chattering and bothering her. "Like Eaglefeather," she thought bitterly, remembering the conversation she had had with her older sister earlier in the day. "Speak of the devil..." she muttered under her breath as the very she cat she so despised walked over to Snakekit. Mistpaw's expression grew sour as Eaglefeather whispered words of warning to the kit and returned to the nursery. "Don't tell him that!" she hissed at the queen, her ears pressed against her skull in anger. "He can decide to think what he wants to think about me, he doesn't need his head full of your twisted thoughts!" Her tail lashed as her frustration with Eaglefeather was rekindled. ______________________________________ Characters:

Dunepaw sat with Barkpaw. He wanted to become freinds, so he sat up and padded a little closer, just staying a little aways from the group.
