Winterpaw's Border Patrol

Lightfoot trotted through the clearing at sunhigh. He had given Winterpaw the morning off, mostly because he just felt like it. He needed his solitude ever now and then, and this morning felt like the perfect time to be alone. Now that that was over Lightfoot waited patiently by the fresh-kill pile for his growing apprentice. She was progressing well in her training, and he was eager for her to soon be a warrior, though it would still be some time.

Winterpaw came over ot Lightfoot. She glanced at the pile, and decided she wasn't hungry. "What are we doing today?" she asked her mentor.

OOC: It's probably not too late to slip your characters into the gathering if you'd like. After this you need an assessment, right?

IC: "A simple border patrol. Nothing too strenuous, but I'll be testing your knowledge of the other clans while we're out." He said cheerfully, ready for the day of training ahead. "If you're not going to eat, let's get a move on so we can be back early." Lightfoot meowed and then trotted out of camp at a comfortable pace.
