The Babies are Born

OOC: This takes place before "New Furball".

IC: It was a peaceful Leaffall evening. There was soft murmuring that could be heard just beyond the entrance of the nursery. She'd been expecting Blizzardwind's kit for a while now; and it seemed the day would never come. She lay there, nibbling a mouse when a single kick stabbed her belly. "Ouch," She cried painfully. It seemed like World War III was happening inside of her. Her claws unsheathed, she dug them into her soft, mossy nest and yowled. "BLIZZARDWIND!"

Blizzardwind came running at the sound of his mates yowl. "Withersnap! Ok.. Um just breath, it'll all be over soon." He meowed going back out to get a stick and then running back inside and handing her the stick. "Here bite down on this, while I go get Gorsefeather(?)"

Before Blizzardwind had a chance to return, the kitten decided to escape. It slid out of her and she whimpered happily, closing her jaw around her kitten's scruff and dragged it to her belly. "We're all good," Withersnap purred painfully, baring enough strength to stay awake and running.
