Pigeonkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath High Rock for an apprentice ceremony!" Duskfall yowled from his place on High Rock, calling the clan together once more for them to observe a kit become an apprentice. Something he always enjoyed doing, regardless of how he felt physically.

Pigeonkit runs up to the highrock. He was so excited, ready to be an apprentice.

"Pigeonkit, please step forward." Duskfall flicked with his tail, to where he was to stand just in front of High Rock.

Pigeonkit stood forward, looking at Duskfall.

"Pigeonkit, you've reached the age of six moons, and it's time for you to be apprenticed. From this day onwards until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Pigeonpaw. Your mentor will be me. I will teach you everything that I know." With the ceremony down, the deputy leapt down from High Rock to touch noses with his new apprentice.

"Congratulations, Pigeonpaw. I trust that you're ready to train until you drop?" The deputy joked.

Pigeonkit stood there surprised. He was going to be trained by Duskfall, the clan deputy.
"It would an honour to be trained under you," Pigeonkit mewed.
Pigeonkit touched noses with Duskfall. Pigeonkit remembered that he is now Pigeonpaw.
